Bible Resources
The Bible gives us purpose, direction, forgiveness, and healing. To develop a Biblical mindset, the Bible needs to be made a priority. Whether you use apps or read and study bound Bibles and references, there are tools available to get the Bible into your life. There are advantages to always having a bound Bible on hand, however, the convenience of Bible apps and programs can also be a great resource.
Bottom line - to get serious, you’re likely going to have printed, bound Bibles as well as digital tools. Below are a few resources you may want to review and consider if they can be of use to you in your journey to develop your Biblical mindset.
“ALL SCRIPTURE IS GOD-BREATHED AND IS USEFUL FOR TEACHING, REBUKING, CORRECTING AND TRAINING IN RIGHTEOUSNESS, SO THAT THE SERVANT OF GOD MAY BE THOROUGHLY EQUIPPED FOR EVERY GOOD WORK.”
2 TIMOTHY 3:16-17

Where Do I Start Reading?
All scripture is God breathed and timeless, however each book of the Bible is written in a literature style and through a perspective of its time and place in history. This guide can help you sort that out. It also provides some suggestions on where to start reading.
Bible Gateway
With a library of audio Bibles, a mobile app, devotionals, email newsletters, and other free resources, Bible Gateway equips you not only to read the Bible, but to understand it.
Bible Project
Their mission is to help people experience the Bible as a unified story that leads to Jesus.
Bible Translations
There are dozens of Bible translations out there, so it’s important to know a little bit about what translation might be best for you. Feel free to ask any of the pastors here at Crestview for a few tips, but generally you’ll end up using different translations at different times. Common translations are NIV, NLT, NASB, ESV, HSCB, KJV, and more. The following resources should help with the basics.
