How much joy do you have today?
“And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, ‘Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.’” Luke 2:8-10 (NIV)
“Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see Him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy.” 1 Peter 1:8 (NIV)
Say yes to Jesus.
“‘The time has come’, He said. ‘The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!’” Mark 1:15 (NIV)
Make space for Jesus.
“And she gave birth to her firstborn, a Son. She wrapped Him in cloths and placed Him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.” Luke 2:7 (NIV)
Pay attention to what Jesus is doing in your world.
“The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.” Luke 2:20 (NIV)
“The more you pay attention to what God is doing in the world, the more joy you will have.”
