Nosedives And Freedom

“There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death.”

Proverbs 16:25 (NLT)

1. WHOSE PATH WILL YOU FOLLOW?

“We can make our own plans, but the Lord gives the right answer. People may be pure in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their motives. Commit your actions to the Lord, and your plans will succeed.”

Proverbs 16:1-3 (NLT)

  • We have 100% freedom and God has 100% control.

“What joy for the nation whose God is the Lord, whose people He has chosen as His inheritance.”

Psalm 33:12 (NLT)

“But that is the time to be careful! Beware that in your plenty you do not forget the Lord your God and disobey His commands, regulations, and decrees that I am giving you today.”

Deuteronomy 8:11 (NLT)

2. WILL YOU BE REPENTANT OR BLAME OTHERS?

“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NIV)

3. WILL YOU STAND UP FOR JESUS?

“Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.”

Ephesians 6:13-15 (NIV)

4. WHERE WILL YOU PUT YOUR HOPE?

“Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’”

Matthew 19:26 (NIV)
