  • Restoration–the action of returning something to a former owner, place, or condition.

1. JESUS WANTS TO BRING RESTORATION TO YOUR SOUL.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2

Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)

  • There will be a new heaven and a new earth.

“Then I saw ‘a new heaven and a new earth,’ for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea…And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, ‘Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and He will dwell with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.’”

“The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor…He began by saying to them, ‘this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.’”
