Part 1: Christian Lifestyle
LIFE CHANGE
PART 1
Ephesians 4:17-32
Crestview Mission Statement: Helping people experience life change through Jesus Christ.
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10 (NIV)
WHAT MAKES THE CHRISTIAN LIFESTYLE DIFFERENT:
“That, however, is not the way of life you learned when you heard about Christ and were taught in Him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus.” Ephesians 4:20-21 (NIV)
1. The truth of the Gospel.
“You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.” Ephesians 4:22-24 (NIV)
2. Life change happens after salvation.
“So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking.” Ephesians 4:17 (NIV)
3. Life change happens in community.
“Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.” Ephesians 4:25 (NIV)
- How do you respond to Jesus each day?
“As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.” Ephesians 4:1 (NIV)
